RaShunda Evans-Jones


Executive Director


Mrs. RaShunda graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Family Child Studies from the University of Montevallo. She had 8 years of teaching experience in classrooms before joining Rushton CDC in 2017. Mrs. RaShunda started at Rushton in October 2017 as the "Office Manager", in January 2020 she was promoted to "Assistant Director" and in June 2021 she was promoted to "Executive Director"! She absolutely loves working and loving on children.

Charlette Gallimore


Assistant Director


Mrs. Charlette was born and raised in Birmingham, AL. She is married with 4 adult children and 5 grandchildren. She has an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and is currently pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in the same area. Mrs. Charlette has worked in the field of child care for over 20 plus years. She is passionate about working with children and their families.
